About

With over two decades of experience in education, Tanya Duster is a trusted mentor whose warmth, wisdom, and quiet leadership have left lasting impressions on students and colleagues alike. Her classroom was more than a place of learning—it was a refuge, a space where encouragement and purpose were always present.

Tanya holds a B.A. in English from Wesleyan College and advanced degrees in Education and Educational Leadership (M.Ed. and Ed.S.) from Georgia College and State University, along with endorsements in reading and gifted education. Her academic path reflects a deep and ongoing commitment to growth and service.

Guided by a desire to support women beyond the classroom, Tanya pursued coaching certification through The CaPP Institute, specializing in personal development. This led her to launch The Collective Journey, LLC, where she fuses her educational background with coaching techniques to help women master their finances and chart meaningful career paths.

A proud Atlantan, Tanya shares her life with her husband and their two joyful pups, Bo and Journey. Through personalized coaching and a thoughtful blog, she offers women the tools to lead empowered, purpose-driven lives.
